Happy New Year fam, I pray this year bring us so much joy and closer to our dreams.
Please let's normalise being nice to people this year and not be judgmental. Many people are going through things for some reason they cannot discuss. Some of them are on edge and suicidal any negative word from you can push them over that edge. Don't troll people online if you have nothing good to say; keep moving; I have not heard talking trash to people takes anyone to heaven. Also, please don't feel pressured when things are not going the way you planned it; take a breather, re-strategise, keep going; trust me, it will work out. Do not compare or validate yourself with other people's progress. Remember, not all that glitters are gold; most things you see online are fake fake fake, do not compare yourself to people you do not know their source of income is questionable or not visible. Adulting is hard and can be tricky; if you feel overwhelmed with life issues, talk to someone and seek professional help (It does not make you weak). Take your mental health seriously, eat healthily, exercise regularly, build a good social life, meditate and read inspirational books.Be strong, work on yourself, get more training if needed, go back to school if needed, or learn a trade. Do not feel you are too old to learn something new or time is too short; it is not. If you stay at home brooding over your limitations without taking any action, you will get even more frustrated; moreover, whether you upskill or not, time will still pass you by.
Finally, never take God out of the equation as you work on yourself, build your relationship with God, pray, fast, and read your bible regularly and watch the lines fall from you in pleasant places.
Like I always tell people around me, EDUCATION HAS NO AGE LIMITS, AND SUCCESS HAS NO EXPIRY DATE.
