MY NEW REALITY (Story time)

Throwback to March I took a trip to Luxembourg for a tour and meeting at the European Union. As soon as we landed, it was straight from the airport to the EU building, no time to chill!

By 5pm, it was dinner time, and I was starving I’d only had one meal the day before. We got to the restaurant, and guess what? Everything looked delicious but sadly, nothing I could eat. Just water. Yup you read that right, just water.

The kitchen had already closed, but the chefs were super sweet and managed to whip something up for me. I was so hungry, I was practically changing colour. They gave me plain fish and broccoli no seasoning, no salt, nothing. It was bland, but I was so thankful I almost hugged the chef, I sprinkled a little salt and ate every bite with joy.

Luckily, when I got to the hotel, they had a proper meal waiting they’d been told in advance about my food restrictions. Bless them, on the way back to Dublin, we left super early no time for breakfast. I figured I’d eat at the airport big mistake. I went from store to store and there was nothing I could eat. Finally, someone found me an apple. And let me tell you that apple tasted like honey in my mouth.

Same thing happened to me at the Santorini airport (and no, I can’t eat pastries), and again in Belfast. But the hotel there made it up to me with the freshest fruits ever. I have realised that evenings are usually better because the chefs always come through.

Shoutout to Yoma she totally gets my food struggle and always has something ready for me when I get home. Honestly, that’s one of the reasons why I mostly just stay at home and not hang out

So, my prayer for you today is that may you never go through what I went through. May your life never flip upside down in a second. Stay prayed up and keep your eyes on the cross, God is real, and Jesus is real

Okay una byeeeeee see you on my next post
